What's upper! Can you believe this is our 100th issue &
this issue also marks Rap Attack's
2nd year anniversary? It's true, oh it's true! I
have to sincerely thank my Rap Attack panel of
the dopest dj's in the nation & my dawgs at the record
labels who continue to show us love for all your
support. You know who you are. Keeping
RapAttackLives.com is not something I've been
profiting from. All the expenses to keep this online has
come out of my pocket cause I'm not gonna let the
critics out there downgrade our college radio, internet
& mixtape dj's. Just cause we ain't a BDS
station, I don't give a f#ck. I know that we have the
flexabilty & freedom to break new hip-hop music without
going through the red tape & wait for the upper hands to
give us an ok if we can play this record or not. I can't
forget to give my staff a huge shout out & thanks for
their loyalty & unconditional support; Mike Franco
who has taken this site to the next level with his
online graphics expertise. Mike is the BEST at
what he does & if you're ever lookin' for the man who
can design the phattest website, then holla at Mike at:
newrealmrecords@aol.com. Also props to
Kazzeo, Hovik, Dialog & Davey-D

makes us NUMBER ONE every week. THANK YOU

Reverend Run tennis shoes. Mike Money

hung out over the weekend & he's all hyped up about
ATL's up & coming, Stat Quo. This cat is already

Three tracks I peeped from Stat Quo gets props! "Let's
Get It On" featuring Biggie & 2Pac," "Wood
Grain" & "Southcoast" are heavy hitters & gonna hit hard
on your 1's & 2's. For more info on gettin' laced with

This
Wednesday, September 17 will be Kazzeo's 10 year
anniversary at KHDC in Salinas, CA and if any
label reps or artists would like to be part of the show
via phone in’s, please get at him in advance so he can
get you the number to call. You can hit Kazzeo up online
at his new email address: :
djkazzeo1@yahoo.com. Kazzeo says, "Well
this is the week that I mark 10 years on the air at KHDC
in Salinas, CA. As I reflect on the past 10 years I am
in awe at some of the things I have seen and been a part
of as well as in disbelief and bewilderment. I was on
the air the night OJ ran from the cops. I was on
the air trying to console listeners the night Tupac
died. I saw Wu-Tang blow up. I’ve seen
soldiers like Big L, Biggie, Jam Master J,
Big Pun, and Eazy-E all pass. I’ve
interviewed hundreds of mc’s from Black Moon to
Big Pun to Lords Of The Underground to Funk
Doobiest to Kardinal Offishall. I’ve lost
friends such as Rob One and DJ Threat.
Many of you have become my second family. After all this
time I still love college radio as much as the day I
started and will continue to represent it as best I can.
I have to shout out all those individuals associated
with my radio show over the years. Verbal Tek,
Kool One, Suicide One, Miss J,
Blast One, Delia Saldivar, Casablanca Rich,
and my man Jason D. And I can’t forget my Rap
Attack family. Nes, thank you for always giving me a
shot to shine and being as insightful and willing to
help as anyone could ever be. You always have my support
in anything except when you blast in my car or make
those suspect noises while you’re sleeping! Baby C,
what can I say? You’re a sister to me. Over the last few
years you and I have seen and weathered some pretty
rough situations. As I said for Nes, I always have your
back as well. Whoever has a negative remark to make
about you may as well diss me too. Lastly, I know there
are far too many label reps for me to mention. Just know
that I thank you all for the years of service and
support. Let’s keep it moving for another 10 years"…
SHOUT OUT TIZIME:
Happy B'days to Patrick DJ Buddhabong from
TIR, Jennifer Norwood outta Universal
& to Russ "Roast Duck" Jones from J
Records. Shouts to this weeks new Friendsters
of DJ Kazzeo; Sarah, Kei, Tyna,
Celine, Allure, Lani, Anny,
Ms JoJo, Chaz & Ninong Boy! Last week
we lost one of the greatest comics who we grew up
watching on "Three's Company," John Ritter ,
country singer & legend Johnny Cash, to all those
who lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy & to Tupac
Shakur 9/13/96 (R.I.P.).
