Garrett Williams at Interscope went very
well. I laced him with my latest mailing list & will
update him with my new list by the beginning of 2004.
Their number one priority is Obie Trice "The Set
Up" featuring Nate Dogg & produced by Dr. Dre.
If you need to get laced, you can reach Garrett at (310)
865. 8051, on his 2way at
8777060634@skytel.com or online
at:GARRETT.WILLIAMS@UMUSIC.COM...
If you're down with some dope ass Memphis booty/strip
club music, then you've got to peep the debut 12" by
Bosstown "What Cha Workin Wit" (Geffen). I know
clubs will eat this joint up in a quickness, but this
joint will sound good in your mix to add a different
flava to your show. For more info, holla at Ken
Marshall toll free at (888) 443. 8207 or on his 2
Way:
KENMARSHALL@TMAIL.COM. Tell him, Rap Attack
sent ya'... Infa Red's got a new single out "Keep
It Real" (Infamous Ent.) featuring Kurupt. Off
the single, I'm really feelin' the b-side "I Like It"
which has got a dope Spanish hip-hop vibe to it. For
more info in gettin' laced, you can holla at my
homegirls Jo Jo or Annie B. over at
Bryan Farrish Radio Promotions at (818) 905. 8038.
Tell em' Rap Attack sent ya' & lemme know your
feedback on Infa Red aiight!... Comin' to your
turntables soon, straight outta Canada is the group
IRS who I believe is gonna make some big noise out
here. Their album "Welcome To Planet IRS" (Avatar/Universal
Canada)
is TIGHT. Lyrically, their unique hip-hop sound, a touch
of impressive r&b voals & production are all on point.
I'm not sure what single Avatar Records plans on
releasing but their album track "No Hesitation"
featuring Planet Asia and "Strictly For The Heads" are
two joints that fits college rap radio formats
perfectly. I'm going to need you to break this group IRS
& their new single once you receive it. Log on to their
site at:
WWW.PLANETIRS.COM & stay tuned... About to drop
is Troy Walsh's (aka Mr. Unlikely)
album "Country Clubbin'" (Burb Life). Troy
suprised a bunch of us when he performed live at our
recent Hip-Hop Showcase #3 in NY. He's got some solid
hip-hop cuts & cuts that lean to the alternative tip,
but he is very unique & I think will bring in a whole
new generation of hip-hop fans. Lookout for his debut
single, "Country Clubbin'" b/w "Runaway Train" & a bonus
cut "Whispers." Troy is 100% down to do radio drops, so
if you're interested, give him a shout online at:
GETDOWN@BURBLIFE.COM...

The
late Eazy-E's son, Lil Eazy-E is
all grown up now! He's 18 years old & is following in
his dads's footsteps. You can hear Lil Eazy-E featured
on the "Tru Crimes Of L.A." (Koch) soundtrack to the
video game. It was an eerie feeling hearing Lil Eazy-E
cause I knew his dad very well & it's hard to believe
his son is all grown up now spittin' lyrics biggin' up
Compton, etc. just like his dad did. Lil Eazy-E's got
skills too & I gotta give him props on that. The title
track "Tru Crimes" is on fiya as well featuring
Bishop, Young Dre, Black & Sixx
John. This is straight up West Coast ish & truly
represents! Peep it...
SHOUT OUT TIZIME: "HAPPY THANKSGIVING"
everyone & may God Bless you & your family this
holiday season from all of us here at the Rap
Attack!
