What's upper! Superbowl XXXVIII is history with
this years 2004 champs, New England Patriots
(32-29). This years half time show was one of the best
to date featuring P. Diddy, Nelly, Kid
Rock & Janet Jackson! Janet rocked the crowd
as she ended her set with a mystery/surprise guest (no
not Jermaine or Michael Jackson!),
Justin Timberlake who not only got physical on the
mic with "Rock Your Body" but with Janet! Now was I
seeing things or did Justin grab Janet's shirt exposing
one of Janet's boobs right at the very end & right
before all the lights went off?... DJ Chela No.1
(see photo above) outta NC's WXDU is featured in
January's issue of the Urban Network as
college dj of the month! This girl's been making noise &
keeping busy as Chela recently dj'd a set with Kuttin'
Kandi & the whole 5th Platoon crew. Her radio
show "No.1 Picks" on 88.7FM / WXDU can now be
heard at a new time, 10PM-1AM (est) every Monday night.
You can listen to her show for the best underground,
street & local Hip-Hop plus exclusive interviews with
your favorite artists worldwide on the livestream at
www.wxdu.org. Hosted by Mstk (formerly of
Tyfu) and DJ Soundmachine(www.djsoundmachine.com)
tune in or log on live... This just in from our militant
Rap Attack reporter Peter Rosenberg
outta MD's, WMUC, " Well if you haven't heard
about "The Brown Album" , you probably will soon since
MTV ran a story that discusses it at
length (www.mtvnews.com).
Many of you know, though, that Kev has been one
of the illest producers around for a minute now.
Starting next week, he is going to be doing phone
interviews with DJs for the first time. He will be
discussing "The Brown Album" and his experiences with
the likes of Jewel, Dela, Bumpy Knucks,
Jazzy Jeff and many others. Here is the
deal...hit me with an email and let me know when your
show is and we will make it happen. He may have to do
them in the afternoon, so hopefully you guys can record
them, but as soon as you reach out, we can start putting
together his schedule. Also remember that wax for "The
Brown Album" will be dropping in the next week. We can't
wait to get this going and thanks for your support. Kev
was discovered at college radio and giving back to
college djs is very important to us & everyone." You can

A Rap Attack reality look into the life of
MA's Kate Livingston from WOZQ &
DoomsDay Promotions: "So me and my spontaneous
little ass decides to up and go to ATL for a mini
vacation- without checking the weather report. It was
beautiful down there the whole time I was there….checked
out the historically black colleges “Battle of the
Bands” with about 60,000 heads at the Georgia Dome- had
an incredible time, right? We left to drive home on
Sunday morning under a light rain in ATL and as soon as
we got into South Carolina- it was all about that
insane ice storm for the next TWELVE HOURS. North
Carolina declared a state of emergency and everything
shut down. It took us 15 hours to travel what should
have taken 8 by the time we got to DC. After spinning
out on the almost empty highway at 3 am in DC we decided
it was time to quit, so we crashed at my friend’s house
for 3 hours and then got back on the road at
6am
Monday. PS- We kept count and had passed 32 ACCIDENTS
in
South
Carolina,
North
Carolina
and Virginia. My friend and I got all the way to North
Jersey in proper time to make it to work (both had to
work that night) when all of a sudden we blew a tire! We
had to drive 50 miles an hour on the spare all the way
from North Jersey to Massachusetts. I was 2 hours late
for work and basically stepped out of the car and into
work and worked the closing shift. Yikes. Not the most
relaxing vacation ever, but I’ll take what I can get!,"

your doors by now. There was a late mailing for the
Canada/overseas and internet shows, but should be at
your doors by this week. I need feedback and all. Major
push for this track. It's being well accept by the B-Boy
comunity as a breath of fresh air to those B-Boys who
gave up on hip-hop. I have the entire 12" on mp3 for
those requesting it. Also, don't sleep on the
Algorithm sampler I sent out. The album is currently
in stores, "Dawn of a New Error" or can be purchased
