Damian Rodriguez (KGNU-CO): "I’m really really feelin that evidence track mr. slow flow. Something about it just knoc’s. Here’s the goods below, enjoy!

**Ghetto highlight of the week: My friends met up w/ me at a bar a while back. They saw a parked squad car & decided to have some fun w/ their cameraphone. That is real, he really did whiz on the car.

**moral: Only a white guy would be crazy enough to be brave & whiz on the squad car. Most minorities know w/ luck they’d get served like Rodney. I thought it was funny.

Ghetto highlight #2: Send to me from Arizona, not sure exactly what they’re movin here, but w/ that sloppy jalopy aka hooptie, I don’t think it’ll make it from point A to point B.

Moral: Don’t bring home fat girls & get it on passenger seat style, certain shocks are just too old & can’t handle it. it’ll do this to your car & make it unsafe for moving.

Nesto (WODU-VA): "Whats good fam? The weather is starting to break here in VA. I'm pretty sure our "cold spell" is on it's way out. We've had days with 60 degree weather lately. On another note, have you heard the diss record that Scott Storch has put out on Timbaland. WOW.. Will Timbo reply or just let it die out Haha.. Beef is sometimes a funny thing. Keep the music coming and please send all MP3s to inthecrates@gmail.com

DJ Lazy (WMNF-FL): "We got mad throwback parties this March in Tampa baby!!! 813 is old school for Spring I guess. De La Soul is comin in March 16th. Public Enemy (the original line-up!!!) is comin with X-Clan March 23rd!!! Souls Of Mischief end of April and Strange Fruit Project rollin through On April 10th. This weekend K-OS (one of my current favorite albums!!!) is comin with Gym Class Heroes to Orlando March 1st so I'm makin a road trip!! Only an hour so no problem. Spring is here and my shoe game is in full effect! I got those New balance 480's that were only released in Las Vegas for the NBA All Star weekend!! Plus a pair of the Nike SB Dunk Dinosaur Jr's. Who's comin ta Winter Music Conference?!?!"...

John "DJ DePen" McCarthy (WUSR-PA): "My name is Dj DePen, and I’m a DJ and the Urban Director at WUSR Scranton, the college radio station for the University of Scranton. I’ve had a passion for Underground Hip Hop for just under a decade. This is only my first year as the Urban Director, and I’m putting the “dire” back in the title because we are in dire need of more music. The station used spin monthly promo’s from any flavor of the month mainstream artist. I helped initiate a station-wide policy to eliminate a wide majority of top 40 mainstream artists. But since I dropped the guillotine on years of tracks, I’m in a need of music.

Artists underground and independent that support a positive movement for Hip-Hop I want to play; I need to play. WUSR Scranton holds the main listening audience for the Scranton area, and I would love nothing more but to give the airwaves to the new artists.
