HE'S
NOT A VIRGIN! Ok, not quite, but he does work
at Virgin Records & yes it's the one & only
Aaron chillin' after begging the entire
Rap Attack panel to put Gang Starr
at number one on their chart this week. Hey it
worked!

What's upper!
Just in case you haven't noticed over the past few
weeks, you can log on to our Top 30 chart & peep
out snippets to some of the hard hittin' bangers we have
charting! Props to our Asst. Rap Editor, DJ
Kazzeo for makin' that happen. This will not only
benefit us as a dj to hear some of the cuts we may not
have listened to yet, but to the hundreds of consumers
who peep out our site & lookin' to buy new hip-hop music
that our loyal panel is best known to break first
nationally!... Check this out, our Mixtape
reporter, DJ Meddafore reppin' Philly did it
again, 2 years in a row! At last week's "2nd Annual
Philly Hip-Hop Music Awards" held at club Silk City,
Meddafore picked up the award for "Philly's Hip-Hop
MixTape DJ Of The Year" for the second straight year.
Congratulations AK, you are makin' ish happen not only
in your market but for all of us here at
RapAttackLives.com. We love you Med!!!... Just
last issue, I gave you the 411 on Roc-A-Fella's
College Radio Rep, Jamar. Just when ish
was startin' to happen with our panel by getting our
dj's record service, etc. from RAF, I come to find out
that Jamar was let go. What is the deal? It ain't like
RAF doesn't have any records selling. I want Jamar to
know that his hard work while at RAF will not be
forgotten by the many dj's you looked out for. We all
wish you the very best in your future endeavours...
KSPC's Kevin Sakoda outta Pamona is
celebrating his hip-hop shows 12 year anniversary with
"The Downlow." Kevin's still doin' his thing at
Warner Brothers Records & knowing Kev, he'll be doin'
his thing at KSPC for many years to come... Another one
of our dj's is celebrating their 13 years on the
Baltimore airwaves! Vegas outta WEAA
continues to blow up the Baltimore market with his long
running hip-hop show. Big props to both Kevin & Vegas
for their on air dedication to hip-hop music... Last
week, DJ Opal from WKDU in Philly & a grip
of other gigs he's down with which include
HIPHOPDX.COM to name but a few, sent me an
advanced MP3 of a brand new artist by the name of
Angelous. The cut is called "Angel." Was I blown
away when I first peeped this joint out. Angelous sounds
like an exact carbon copy of Jay-Z! The single
"Angel" is a free for all diss on Jay-Z & homeboy comes
correct on his lyrics too. Rumor has it that Angelous
may be shortly inking a deal with Arista. Once
his ish comes out, you gotta peep it. I guarantee this
one will make a lot of noise & piss a lot of Jay-Z's
peeps fa sho!... Fans of Funk Doobiest will be
happy to know that Son Doobie has just dropped
his new album "Funk Superhero" (Battle Axe). Son Doobie
hasn't lost any enthusiasm when it comes to spittin'
rhymes in his own unique way. This album is on fiya!
There are 12 tracks featuring guest lyricists; Moka
Only, Prevail (of Swollen Members) &
Psycho Realm's Jacken. Guest producers
include; Rob The Viking, Kemo & Nucleus
to name a few. He's still down with the Soul
Assassins & he's still got the lyrical skills to
make this album a winner in my collection. For record
service, contact Battle Axe Records at (604)
733-9462... I'm predicting this Panjabi MC
featuring Jay-Z "Beware Of The Boys (Remix)" (Sequence)
is gonna be a nation wide hit. Our mixtape reporters &
selected college radio dj's gets props for breakin' this
ish first. I now have the contact info to get laced with
the Panjabi MC 12". Contact my dawg Gazelle at
(212) 353-8800;extension 266 & tell him Rap Attack

Work" featuring Fat Joe & K-Solo... My
