From MN's KFAI radio, DJ King Otto teams up with Mike the 2600 King with their new mix cd, "Things Kings Do Vol. 1."

 

Yo, I loved this cd cause it was like flashing back to the "American Bandstand" days. Even Wolfman Jack is featured in the mix. Now you're probably not old enough to remember any of this but a TRUE DJ will know his music period!

 

"Things Kings Do" flashes way back. In King Otto's words, "Now, for the first time ever, I am able to share with you this amazing mix of music. In this disc is the full 1 hour and 7 minutes of foot stomping boogie woogieness that I witnessed in my parched delirium on that beautiful night of 1966. DJ King Otto & Mike The 2600 King gets a well deserved 2 THUMBS UP for a well put together mix cd & for being different by taking a whole different genre of music & making it hip again to peep. "Things Kings Do Vol. 1" is da ish & I wonder what these 2 kats has in store for Vol. 2?
