With the Juno Awards (Canada's version of the Grammy's) in Winnipeg on April 4th 2005, The city is definitly getting ready for some big releases. Brand new "Foul Tone Records" has released a 12" and album on CD

entitled "Turn The Gun - Rap Day". TTG features some of Winnipeg's dopest mc's including Your Brother In My Backpack's YY and Gumshoe Strut and Kutdown newly famous from his production on the new Mocean 12" which yall should have recieved from 7-Heads. Canada's reigning DMC champion DJ Brace and PNC records' Gruf The Druid have finally released their celph titled album "Sound Barriers" on Sound Barrier Recordings after 2 years in the making. This album is definitly for fans of Def Jux and Rhymesayer material. If you want something to bump on your show make sure to hit up Dj Brace of the infamous Too Sicks crew @ DjBrace26@hotmail.com and let them know you're intersted in checkin some bangin hiphop.

One more Canadian event to make sure to check out is The "Battle Of The Beatmakers" happening in Toronto on March 26th 2005. Sound for the evening will be provided by Dj Tab, Hosted by Aristo and judged by Urbanology Magazine. This battle is designed to highlight some of Canada's up and coming beat makers and should definitly not be slept on!! Now on to the South!!!

March 15th (The Day before my Bday!!) is the day everyone needs to mark down on their calenders. Mr Sche of Immortal Lowlife Records along side Memphis OG Al Kapone drop "Showdown" in stores and online across the world. This album will feature exclusive production by Mr Sche and will also feature the voices of Skinny Pimp, Boss Bytch and M Child. If you havent seen Mr Sche's catalog than you must be sleepin as he's worked with almost every sucessfull mc out of Memphis Tenn and much much more!! Another Southern OG "Pimp C" of the infamous Under Ground Kingz (UGK) while still incarcerated has released "The Sweet James Jones Stories". This album features some of Texas's finest Z-Ro, Lil Flip and of course Bun B. My favorite song to look out for is "I Know You Strapped". In the words of Pimp C "Smoke Somethin B***H!!*.....Free Pimp C!!!
